1. Eligibility Conditions

1. Age Requirement

   • Groom: Minimum 21 years

   • Bride: Minimum 18 years

2. Marital Status

   • Both must be single, or if previously married, must be legally divorced or widowed.

3. Mental Capacity

   • Both should be of sound mind and capable of giving valid consent.

4. Prohibited Relationships

   • Parties must not be within degrees of prohibited relationship (unless custom permits).
     
     
     
     

   • 2. Document Requirements

   • Proof of Age – Birth Certificate, Class 10th mark sheet, Passport, etc.

   • Proof of Address – Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, etc.

   • Photographs – Passport-size photos (usually 4–6 each).

   • Marital Status Proof – Affidavit for unmarried/divorce decree/death certificate of spouse.

   • Nationality Proof – Passport or other government ID.
